Would You Open Your Home?
St. John's and Feast of Justice is being blessed August 13 - 15 to received the work of a traveling mission group from St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Bloomsburg, PA. These skilled laborers will be helping us out with some of the construction that is being planned for the Parish Hall. Since we do not have showers here at St. John's, we need to find housing for them. Would you be able to house a few adults during that time (nights of August 12-15)? Please let Pastor Tricia know if you can help.

Green Team Update - Season of Creation
Although summer is just beginning, we're already making plans for next school year. Last September, St. John's joined many churches worldwide in celebrating the Season of Creation. The Green team is working now on plans for this September.
During the month, the lectionary and other activities will center around four major topics: the Earth, humanity, the sky and mountains. We're working on ways that these themes can be incorporated into Rally Day, adult Bible study, Sunday morning Christian education and weekend worship.
We look forward to exploring, honoring, and celebrating God's great creation with you.
If you're interested in more information about what churches worldwide are planning, please take a look at the Season of Creation webpage: http://www.seasonofcreation.com/
